Filter Tester

The extruder with the Filter Test system is designed to test the dispersion of masterbatch and fillers and perform quality tests on virgin or recycled polymer compounds.

Designed according to EN 13900-5 standards, the machine consists of a single-screw extruder (Ø 20 or 25 mm), a melt pump, and two high-precision pressure sensors. By measuring the melt pressure difference (FPV), it is possible to identify the presence of undispersed fillers, contamination, agglomerates, and oversized particles in the material during the process.
